Art is not without sacrafice.
This is a short story of a lonely painter who is obsessed with being a great only to be constantly disappointed.
It all changes when she asks for divine intervention and in a cruel answer looses her hand. With all hope lost she reaches a desperate low, only to find new hope as she battles through her frustrations to learn to paint with her left hand.
She paints the very hand she lost with her remaining hand, and it is ironically this painting that now hangs among the greats and is recognised as a masterpiece.
