On the outside Jacque lives a normal life in every respect.  Only when Jacque begins to have visions and psychotic episodes do we realise that not is all as it seems.  His life is carefully constructed to mask his true self.

Jacque has had to become a cold and callous individual on the inside, whilst projecting normality on the outside, to succeed in his dark profession. A monster hiding in the light.  Even Jacque is unaware of his monstrous core.  By disassociating himself with the crimes he commits, Jacque has been left deeply troubled and living a tormented and regretful life.

Unable to determine whether his visions of a haunting yet beautiful woman are real, or if this is his guilty subconscious playing with his mind, his world descends into madness.  It is clear he must ultimately face the dreadful sins he has committed in order to free himself, but can he allow himself to be judged, can he free himself from his tortured soul?

This is an unnerving look into the psychotic mind of a killer as we are given a frightening insight into the darker side of the human pyche, and Jacques ability to separate his gruesome killings from day to day life.
